BTO eying AVK?

BTO eying AVK? I have had a suspicion for some time that BTO is eying AVK (Avnel Gold).  The reasons I feel that way are:
-Avnel Gold is very, very underpriced for high-grade open-pit gold ready to go
-They have a DFS coming out - probably tomorrow.
-ESIA submitted in January and expected to be approved very soon
-BTO has been experiencing how good mining is in southern Mali with the government very accomodative and the people very supportive of the mining business.
-An entity has been working to try to keep the Avnel share price down - I think to make a takeover easier.  However, the shareholders aren't going to accept a low price.  Avnel is now like a coiled spring.
-I called management and asked if this was a possibility and got a very unusual nervous laugh.  It seemed like I surprised them with the question.
