Increasing price, revenues and positive price adjustments It is nice to see that Zn is still approx 83c, despite Cu having fallen to almost $2.18 from a high of over $2.30 over the last 8 sessions.
TV's sales of Zn in Q4 were at an average price of 70c, but probably half of those sales were provisionally priced. The final price on those shipments isn't determined for a month or two after arrival at their customer. Since the price went up in Q1-2106, sales on unsettled shipments as of Dec 31 will be adjusted upward and that will be reflected in Q1-2016 sales.
Also Q1 shipments that were provisionally priced during the quarter will be adjusted/recorded in Q1 at the March 31st price of 82c. That's a 17% increase in sales price over Q4. Similarly, if the price keeps rising, future quarters will continue to have additional positive price adjustments for previous quarters' s shipments. We just need the Zn price to keep rising!!!!!!!
