The limitations are it's ability to be absorbed and consequently kill every CA cell. Repeat treatment may be necessary and of course there's a limitation as to deep an effective photo dose can travel.
I'm sure everyone here is aware green light is highly absorbed by Hb of RBCs. limiting its ability to travel very deep. Hence higher wavelengths are necessary. Whihc of course may be an issue wrt its ability to produce high enough concentrations of ROS.
