Should you buy shares of a bankrupt company ? This may seem an unusual question , but some investors look for companies in Chapter 11, they have a good chance to get out of bankruptcy intact . If a company out of a Chapter 11 action with its original intact , it could be an investment worth considering . You must determine whether the company has a good chance to continue as a viable entity . The purchase of shares of a bankrupt company usually means that you are buying at rock bottom prices if the company has a successful turn , you can be settled at a very low price which could see a dramatic increase . taked from here: https://tradingcenter.wordpress.com/2009/11/02/que-pasa-con-una-accion-cuando-una-compania-presenta-la-solicitud-de-bancarrota/
