RE:RE:This is not Agreed - a huge discount on Caribou right now, but that will change in coming weeks as soon as improved recoveries are announced. The smaller media (steel balls in Sag mills) should have almost an immediate impact on recoveries, so they should be able to announce that either before or alongside their Q1 results.
Additionally, have a look at their Q4 results, which I think was a small loss, but based on a USD 70c average Zn price. With zince well above that (82c at March 31st, or 17% higher), revenues will be higher, cash flows should be higher and I suspect their earnings will be positive. Don't forget, their unsettled zinc shipments get marked-to-market to 82c price at quarter end. That will result in a significant (positive) price adjustement to top line revenues.
It's uphill from here for the company on several fronts:
1) higher prices resulting from Zn conc deficits and low LME inventories; 2) positive earnings from Santander; and 3) better reccoveries (along with commercial production) in coming weeks or month at Caribou. These factors will feed off each other. TV stock price will see 80-90 cents in the next 2 months.
