Feeling sick ...

Feeling sick ...I've gone through the Information Circular that came in the mail this week, and it makes me sick. How on earth can NCU say, with a straight face, that Messrs. Brown, Gill, and Iorich are "independent directors"? All of these guys work for Pala, which owns more than 50% of the company! Independent? What a joke. The Circular goes on to say that the two new director nominees would be independent, too. Aren't these guys Pala nominees as well? Can we minority shareholders rely on these so-called "independent directors" to protect our rights as minority shareholders? I can't, so I voted "no" to all the resolutions before us, except the appointment of auditors. I find no glimmer of hope in this Circular, and I guess maybe Vic Bradley, the non-executive Chairman of the Board, feels the same way, since he continues to own no NCU shares. Pathetic!
