RE:Large Takeover in U.S.Price of poker gone up. Gannett has upped bid to $15 a share. There is value in the news media after all. Tpub has 70 cents book value and they are now bidding $15. Torstar has $4 book value and it's biggest asset 47 acres and 700000 sq foot print plant is for sale. I think this is easy buy here. Was reading on weekend how facebook and Google have news feeds. Well if there is no news media they would have no news feeds to report. You need the news media unless facebook and Google create their own news media.
