RE: 60 Minutes Joins the Fight Against Brain Tumors

RE: 60 Minutes Joins the Fight Against Brain TumorsThis sounds like another story around oncolytic viruses, a story that I've been following for at least 15 years through a company called Oncolytics Biotech, a Canadian company based in Calgary that has been working with the reovirus, a benign virus far less potentially dangerous than the polio virus. ONC trades on the TSX.V for around .70 and has looked at gioblastoma as a possible indiciation in the past. It is a company, though, that has had difficulty focusing as they have trials going on in numerous indications and at many different stages. They recently announced results from a bladder cancer study where they've had some success in combination with standard chemotherapy. Oncolytic viruses seem to be a "new" discovery every couple of years. They have promise but likely only in combination with other treatments.
