RE:New CEOThis is not a retirement!! It's more like don't let the door hit you on your way out. That is why there is no succession plan. Postmedia somehow restructured yesterday so they are hear for another 4 or more years. Those debt holders are like those riverboat gamblers so idea that star only game in town is out for now. Main take away is post media revenue drop cause by print advertising declining again 19 percent. Torstar at 12 percent decline due to not as much national advertising. With rich salary and benefits this level of decline puts significant pressure on ebitda. Gannett is US doing 17 percent ebitda. Torstar had no ebitda in q1 and looks like willvbe minimal for 2016. I am becoming bearish.
