RE:RE:Bottom LineDividend will happen when management feels timing is right. It is definitely in the cards.
Load factors ? I agree as an investor that it be nice to have. But looking at WJA tells me that AC is right around the same levels. So no big worry.
Ordering planes ? Westjet ordered a ton to replace theirs. And AC bought the same ( 737 Max ) as WJ. And got a killer deal from Boeing. Airbus said so themselves that Boeing won on price.
AC also bought the Cseries. And got a killer deal from BBD.
787-8 and 787-9 are 30% more efficient to fly than 767 they replace.
If you check any aviation trade magazine, there has never in the history of aviation been a better time to replace fleets with new efficient aircraft. Boeing , Airbus , BBD , etc are fighting tooth and nail for every order. For Ac and WJA , this means gamechanger aircraft at rock bottom prices.
Now , I'm a fan of both Westjet and only recently AC.
AC had a plan and are sticking to it. And they have been delivering or beating everything they have promised. As an investor , this is the horse to bet on long term.
