Future of LitigationI am no legal begal, this is starting to look like a long road ahead of lawyers and lawsuits.
It will be very challenging for KRN to obtain financing if the largest shareholder in KRN is tied up within a lawsuit with KRN.
What new partner would want to join that circus?
GSFC is not going anywhere, all that will happen is the treasury will continue to dwindle to nothing, same as prior to GSFC injecting their 45 million. Why not negotiate with the partner, Biz pointed out it is like a marriage, make it work or suffer the costly consequences.
I have done more research,
Why was Mr. Phinney removed from KRN the first time?
1) Was it due to failed financing attempts prior to GSFC becoming a partner in KRN, while potash was at record high prices for 4 years, as Mr. Brown pointed out this occured a few times.
or 2) Personality conflict with the board, I just relistened to the AGM from last year, the introduction of GSFC folks I felt was quite insulting, not the way you introduce your future financing partner.
The concerned shareholders got Mr. Phinney back in control, please do what is right for the shareholders, and not have a personal agenda to oust GSFC.
Mr. Goodman did the write down, my question is who introduced Mr. Goodman to KRN. The fertilizer industry is not that large, obviously some KRN folks knew him and his past.
Just my thoughts
