It's true that Neulion might be interesting for Netflix to acquire, especially as their growth has about capped by now, though I wonder if Amazon would not be a better candidate for an acquisition. Disney has made the choice to acquire MLBAM. Any serious competitor would better acquire as many agreements as possible in order to eventually dominate the sector. Neulion offers that on top of the technology they've built. I won't pretend the technology they have won't be bested. Things move really quickly in this sector. But just their multiple standing agreements ought to be worth quite a lot. If the NHL was worth MLBAM paying 100 mil a year for 6 years, imagine what all that neulion has is worth.
