I will admit I was expecting the numbers to be slightly better, however after analysis of the Management Discussion and Analysis I am satisfied. The company mentioned a deliberate focus on their oil licence and perfecting the process of manufacturing their 3 oils throughout the first half of the year. Their unique strains of dried sold out very quickly due to their capacity which they are looking at addressing to achieve economies of scale. (New Facility?!? and also addresses lower revenue) Their research showed promising results in cannabinoids which allow for use in their oil product line and in a "wide variety" of products. (Very interesting choice of words here) They of course introduced their new logo, a renewed social media presence and E Commerce ordering system. Very Exciting and very proud to be a shareholder of Emerald!
