RE:RE:With V.ORE broken is T.AVK the only meaningful M&A target?Personally, I was proud to see Ron and Pascal let investors know of this material change ahead of the new resource: Most others would have likely tipped their friends and family ahead of this and then just dropped a new resource, so kudos to them.
However, the problem with V.ORE is that based on the lack of information provided that it is difficult to asertain how this will impact the new FS, which means you're trying to catch a falling knife. V.ORE will have to produce a new FS, which will not be coming in September when they publish an updated resource. Investors will be waiting a long time to see what the new reserve and economics will look like.
That being said, most stocks have a good bounce on the afternoon of the third day of trading after horrible news (statiscially speaking), so those catching knives could be well rewarded over the next trading session or two.
End of the day, T.AVK is the only shovel ready project not in the hands of a mid-tier or major in West Africa, making it the leading M&A candidate for speculative investors.
V.WAF's valuation is out of control for what little that actually seem to have. It's too early in the cycle for V.WAF to move higher and stick, in my opinion.
