Gild continues to fade..why?

Gild continues to fade..why?---because it continues to do nothing with its cash hoard. Is it afraid to make a mistake?
It needs another income stream/vertical.
---those that are afraid to make a mistake will probably make one. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's like when you are growing up. Trial & error. You learn from making mistakes than your successes.
---now if GILD continues to drift lower & let's say it gets below $70. I think it then becomes a target for a takeover with its cash hoard being used to buy itself & not for a premium.
---are they waiting for the election result to see who becomes president & its possible affect against its business ops. That says to me that:  a) mgmt is unsure as what to do going forward & b) their business (hep C etc.) is being pressured by competitors & we all know that the market share/sales/profits are shrinking & will continue to shrink with no substitute income stream.
