The only strategy that makes sense regarding selling NYX to buy IT or vice versa is if you only have enough money for one stock at a time. 

The daytraders obsess each day about every tiny move in the SP (these are probably the ones who panicked and sold earlier at $2.06), post the level 2's every 5 minutes  and instantly declare that it must be a "pump and dump" if the stock doesn't behave the way they want. The longer term investors look at the fundamentals, select stocks they consider to be undervalued, purchase as much as they like and then sit back and wait to be rewarded. To each his own but I still think the entire sector is attractively valued so I own NYX and IT and AYA and I don't lose any sleep.  GLTA
