Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:RE:Oil slinks lower after API Reportno point in replying to Unlucky13 - he is a complete fool.  Oil was at 44.95 at 4:30 and it did spike, then retreat but it never dropped more than a few pennies below 44.95 and its currently around 45.10.  Unlucky13's fantasy trades never add up - the new people here aren't aware that he's been posting the same nonsense for a couple years now.  Supposedly he goes "all-in" long BTE then immediately regrets his decision and he announces that he will sell and go short because oil is headed down (so why did he go "all-in" long in the first place).  He has moaned and groaned about imminent margin calls at least 20 times, yet somehow he stays afloat - oh yes he claims his father covers his margin calls, ya right.   Looooooser...
