Contract for Cameco COBOURG - Staffing at Cameco Fuel Manufacturing in Cobourg has been increased by 20 full-time, permanent positions due to a large contract related to the refurbishment underway at the Darlington nuclear plant site.
OPG awarded the project to SNC-Lavalin and Aecon, who in turn hired Cameo to produce calandria tubes and annulus spacers that go into the nuclear reactors and are filled with fuel bundles, Cameco spokesperson Adam McFarland said in an interview.
