Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Any thoughts on APH getting involved in Edibles & Beverage

RE:Any thoughts on APH getting involved in Edibles & BeverageWhen CGC bought the Hershey's chocolate factory, everyone thought they would be entering the edible market. They were hyped so much, but no news ever broke. APH on the other hand, always wanted to focus on the medical marijauna. Why use your funds for the edible side when you could use it for the medicinal (oil) or recreational side.

That was in the past, currently, APH is far ahead as a producer, they could go into the edible or the beverage market if they wanted to. Most likely way is to buy out an existing company with the structures already in place.

Still, CGC is more likely to enter the edible and the beverage market.
