Unsophisticated investors = indicator? Rep. value likely $4B
Unsophisticated investors = indicator? Rep. value likely $4BBy the charming tone of the disucssion, I suspect there may be less-savvy investors piling in. It's actually a legitmate signal, called the Two Dog Doctine; it means that there is an impending technical boost coming from folks who will (1) gap up using market fills, and (2) lustfully chase the 10% days.
Regardless though, this is where to park money if you don't have good spelling or investing skills. Or even life skills. This ain't a dating site. Anyway, a greenfeild pulp mill is a billion dollars ballpark. TMB has three. The co-gen cost $300M. The 750mmfbm of lumber and timber tenue should be worth $300M or so depending on who is counting. They have the DP and chem stuff -- who knows, but call it $400M.
I know nobody pays 'replacement cost' but so the total of $4.0 billion is not a valuation, but would be the cost +/- 30% to build a new Tembec. So, there is fundamental value here -- you're not going to get Bre-X'd or Enron'd or Notel'd on this so even angry old men can surive as long as they don't get hurt feelings based on a paper loss in the single digits in the very short term. Google hurt feelings report and send me a completed copy, please.
