RE:RE:RE:YRI.RT

RE:RE:RE:YRI.RTyri.rt are rights. They give you the right to buy a share in Brio for $3.25 each.  You have the right to buy 62 shares at that price.  Once the rights expire Brio will start trading, and you can buy them then too, or sell the ones you bought. The price will be set by the market, so who knows what it will be...

Brio is a spin-off from Yamana of four properties in Brazil, three of which are producing and one of which is going to be restarted, once they borrow 75 million or so to fix it up. You can read all about it by searching sedar.com for Brio filings.

You can sell your rights at the market price, about 20 cents. That will give you about $12.  If you have $200 you can buy Brio shares by exercising the rights, and to make a profit you will need to sell them at higher than 62x3.25 plus commission.  It's not my place to suggest, but if you only have 1000 shares in Yamana you might as well sell the rights - owning a few shares in another, dodgier, gold miner is not a good idea plus you maintain exposure to Brio anyway by keeping your yamana shares.
