RE:RE:RE:News
RE:RE:RE:NewsYes!!!
This is news we were looking for!!
One of the most established and reputable large teaching and research hospitals in the US "The Mount Sinai Hospital and TSO(3) have agreed to deploy TSO(3) 's STERIZONE(R) VP4 Sterilizer technology and collaboratively share and evaluate related in-use technical and device reprocessing data."
Most hospitals do not allow outside parties to announce that the hospital or medical group is using their medical or technical device, so this is a big one. In other words, TSO3 and Mount Sinai have an agreement to work collaboratively to collect data on the efficacy and efficiency of the VP4 to sterilize complex scopes as well as the host of other instruments on the growing list for which the VP4 is approved in the US. And, they will share this data so that it can then be interpreted and published by leading research experts in, one assumes only first class peer reviewed journals, to help further validate not only the science of this breakthrough sterilizer but the in-practice efficacy of this revolutionary new standard of care!
As I have noted, getting traction in the medical space is very slow to obtain for new technologies, especially ones that disrupt the status quo. (I mean that a host of health or hospital district 'sterilization' administrators such as in my health region who are actually only reprocessor/high level disinfectant trained washing technicians, might find their expertice considerably less relevant in the future and might benefit from retraining.)
THIS IS TRACTION!
TSO3 and Getinge's sales and marketing teams in the US will be able to point to this collaboration and strategic placement, and soon many other prominent first adopters as well, just as we in Canada can point to Steripro or Hotel Dieu or Montreal Heart Institute, as examples of leaders in adoptiing this game changing low temperature Sterizone technology.
Happy Hanukkah!!
