RE:Ground employees suffering for sareholders

RE:Ground employees suffering for sareholders

I think that's a very familiar story for many workers in the service industry. I work for Weatherford and after such a positive outlook this winter, we were told we're finally making profits again. However 5 days before Christmas we are all told to call into a conference call where we were all given yet another significant pay cut. Its a similar situation to Trican where the field staff took rediculous pay cuts and the office staff remained unchanged & untouched.

I'm still holding Trican until this Kean Group IPO which I feel will have a positive effect on the SP. But I don't think the average person realizes how close all these service companies are to losing everything if they dont start treating their field staff better.
