The Time for Talk is OverThe reticence, er, or, silence exhibited on this board recently has more to do with exhaustion and resignation than anything else, I think. Like many, I'm sure, I have staked over 16 months of potential gains on this company. While I've watched unproven/overhyped, momentum grabbing stocks rise (and I have participated in many of these), this stock has insisted on circling the bowl. I have been patient, and I have been forgiving -- not all the calamities that have befallen this stock this past year and a half were because of mgmt despite what many people (even longs) would like to assert. However, I can't shake the fact that I wish I had never laid eyes on this stock. The fundamentals dragged me in, but my own sense of justice and fairness kept me hooked.
Agnonizingly, I feel dumb for holding this stock. So, what? As I watch other plays unfold, I wait. I wait for a time when I will be vindicated. The histrionics often expressed on this board are of little consequence. The moves made in the last 6 months have appeared sound to me, yet the stock continues to suffer. So, what? Really it DOES come down to numbers. Q4 better be good - REAL good. I think the upside is very good - VERY good. But this company needs to build off the momentum of a GREAT Q4. If they can do that all of us long-sufferers will have reason to rejoice, but until they can parlay positive results into consistent momentum, we're all f'ed.
Only the opinion of a beleagured, festering sucker, who wishes the world weren't such a piece of chit.
