These banners include Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson's Bay, Lord & Taylor, and Off 5th in North America and Galeria Kaufhof, Galeria Inno, and Sportarena in Europe. HBC also has investments in real estate joint ventures. In Canada, it has partnered with RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust in the RioCan-HBC joint venture.

RE:Bad...bad...bad hbc...campeau corporation went bankruptTomsson you and I must be from the same generation as I also remember the Campeau Corp/Federated stores fiasco of the 1980's. The main difference is interest rates were much higher then than now. I'm not a fan of leveraged buyouts but if they have any chance of working it's best when rates are low like now with little chance of a rapid increase. As a matter of interest Bob Campeau is still alive living near Sudbury and in his 90's.
