RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:New to WPX

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:New to WPXI wouldn't expect any rise in the share price unless they have some good news to give around the time they become Western Resources.  Reverse splits are normally not seen to be positive events and I wouldn't expect any move higher in the share price unless they have some good news to share in the short term. The reverse split is the reason for the sell off in the shares since the announcement is my guess.

In the PR dated Feb.1 2017 when they announced the restructuring they said that because under Western Potash they couldn't diversify and invest in other mineral properties. Minerals and metals properties that could be outside of Saskatchewan and minerals not potash.

That tells me why they had to change the Company name and objectives, Not so much about the purpose of the reverse split. Maybe they just want a higher share price?  That wasn't explained in the PR. unfortunately.

Overall I see what they're attempting to do as bullish because it's pretty obvious larger investors are looking to expand with Western Resources in more than just the potash business.

That my take anyway.
