RE:RE:BUZZ updateIt seems that RIO's 60% of Diavik is important, as they clearly state they do not want to sell their shares.
If I were a betting man, I'd say that RIO could pick up the whole sparkle triangle of Diavik, Ekati, and PGD for a song. I'd also say that PGD would be the real reason to pick up DDC, because those 70 plus pipes are just down the street and DO27 is right next door.
of course, this is all just a wild fantasy in my head, but it makes sense to me. What doesn't make sense is the valuation of our new Renard mine, unless this whole flash-in-the-pan consolidation involves us being treated like a whipping boy in a used car trade in.
i don't know, exciting times, though.
