RE:Partnership?
RE:Partnership? My bet would be that it is either Kronos or Hunstman. The NR refers to 'major producers' and PPG is not longer a Ti02 producer.
Both Kronos and Hunstman are either not very profitable or losing money so they have to be interested in this partnership to survive, and even become industry leaders. They both have the unconomical plants and financial incentive to partner on this.
A freindly partnership will be very advantageous for Argex as well. If they parnter then they will won perhaps 50/50 of the first 90k tonne Argex plant. But they will also not need to buy an old siote and the CAPEX will just be for the retrofitting costs, not a site purchase. This will save a furtune.
And the whole time Argex is not stating an exclusive partenrship so will be free to sonstruct their own plant or partner with other producers.
They indicate that working on multiple plants at once is acceptable to management, so their 400k tonnes could be in production by 2020 and be worldwide. This is ten yeears faster than if they would have gone at it alone with only greenfield sites.
This is going to be out fo the solar system. Golden.
My price target for RGX doubles since this news. This is a very spicy meatball!
