Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:RE:Profit of $.05 pershareThey are targeting 6-8% growth this year like its a good thing... All these companies pretty much combining together to do a suicide pact and blow each others brains out..... and they sell it as a good thing. SU growing... CNQ growing, WCP growing, SGY growing, and so on and so on... Its pathetic really, and us shareholders are getting screwed because they all keep producing too much and oil will be $50 forever. I dont see how it can get out of this slump unless OPEC steps up to the matt... but they are thinking of saying screw it, especially after seeing all these canadian and US producers increasing production, and who can blame them really..... The smart money already got out, and we are all the bag holders yapping about nothing pointlessly on these boards... just idiotic...
