In other words where in the business world does it best fit. Blackberry (formerly RIM) bought out the world standard Certicom encryption (elliptical curve cryptography) and have used it as their standard for applications and the Blackberry platform.
How and where can QNC be used relative to Certicom.
QNRG2 fits in any scenario where a true full-entropy random number is needed or desired. It is not an encryption suite, it does not do encryption/decryption, its use is for keying and salting of the crypto engine, whatever that may be. So in your example, a Blackberry with Certicom software would use the QNRG2 chip to generate its random numbers.
It could be integrated into devices doing TLS/SSL, IPSec, or any or everything that is doing encryption. The addition of the QNRG2 makes any crypto solution/software/device better; but it does not do the crypto itself, that is left up to whatever platform it is being integrated into.
