NORONTToday this is what Premier Wynne stated:
“We have a billion dollars on the table that we want to invest in infrastructure that is necessary in order to be able to open up that development in the Ring of Fire,” said Wynne. She added that her government has been working for the past few years to get the First Nations to try to reach a consensus. But if that cannot be done, she said Ontario would push ahead.
There is one company in the ROF with PROVEN reserves, and with a project that is practically shovel ready for mine development.
There is one company in the ROF with a plan for development, and with partners more than capable of seeing the project through to either: (1) production; or (2) a buy out from a third party we may, or may not even know who.
You may be very, very sure that to “open up that development in the Ring of Fire” is a direct reference to Noront’s properties, Eagle’s Nest first, with Blackbird to follow.
My disclaimer is that I own substantially more Noront shares that I do KWG.
A second certainty is that I will not reply to factitious, controversial, and misleading comments on this or other posts that I may make in future.
Another certainty is that Moe told us a couple of weeks ago that even after we have financing in place, it will be at least 5 years before first shovel in the ground for a railway.
Not sure about you, but I kind of like my chances with what is literally unfolding before our very eyes.
Since there is copious posting here to bash our majority shareholder, I will take my liberty to say loud and clear: GO NORONT GO!
