SILFinancially it probably doesn't matter if they choose to remain at 20% ownership or take their ownership in shares. It might make a difference in market perception if they choose to retain ownership and fund their 20%. It might be a vote of confidence that could cause a bump in the shares. My feeling right now is that few investors know anything about Scandium, nor care, despite all of JK's promotion. If this were a gold or copper play, the share price would be consistent with the value of the asset.
I have been here since the early EMS days and will be around for a few more years yet.
