HOT is concentrated just in the hotel industry, payout ration around 97%, new financing and an environment of rising rates which affects smaller REITS are all factors. I have LHO on the NY exchange which was also affected today so its across the board. Long term I don't see anything wrong with HOT unless the US slips back into a recession again which is unlikely. Good time to accumulate or tuck it away and look at it in a few months where it should be higher.
