The alert was a curiousity to me and another indication of how low we have gotten.  I would nev trade off only one piece of information.  I am a long term investor who has never day traded.  I have read that just like trading futures,  most people who try it eventually blow out.   I will take a very risky punt once in awhile but it is always as a long term trade and always with a very small amount of money.

It is really hard to figure out what DGC is going to do.   It really depends on the price of gold and nobody really knows.    Having said that, as I said in my other post, sentiment is really bad right now.   It doesn't get much lower.   The last time I sold some DGC was last August when sentiment was high and it had become too big in my portfolio.   I took that money and put it into ALO and SBB which have done really well for me.

I still retain my core position of Detour and am happy to hold here.    I don't think it will happen at all but if gold drops further to 1100 like some of the bears suggest, Detour would get absolutely hammered.   I think that would be a short term blip and an absolutely great time to buy.  This next few weeks should be interesting.....maybe the positive move today is a sign of things to come.   Keep one eye open for a possible financing.   If there is any dilution, it might make for some more volatility and an opportunity.    As you can tell, I am an optimist :).
