That was my first thought as well. It seems to me to leave open the liklihood that no matter how good the results are, skeptics will point to the sample size and claim it isn't representative of the deposit as a whole.

I know it's a poor comparison with Novo - which has a completely different type of deposit - but look at Pretium for example. The company (and its share price?) are arguably still plagued by doubts about the "nugget effect"  - despite having now built a $400M mill and even started non-commercial production! And their bulk sample was enormous in size.

OTOH, I suppose it doesn't hurt to proceed slowly and methodically. It's a long road and QH has never seemed to me to be one who is worried about short term market perceptions. He just keeps plugging away at the job of proving the skeptics wrong.
