RE:great commentary
RE:great commentaryJ103... just curious about your comment about Jason stating that they have 170MM shares 'parked'.
Not doubting that Jason would make such a brash statement, or that it might actually be in the ballpark, but that does bring up interesting questions as to the short term prospects of BFD.
With OSK holding 20% of the shares and having to file if they wish to exceed that amount then it must be assumed that the remainder of the 170MM shares are in OSK friendly hands (assume mostly institutional + Jens etc.).
That leaves only roughly 15% in retail hands. At some point in the near term BFD will be rolled in with OSK. At least their Urban area claims. So what about the 65% of shares that are held by friendly hands? Friends are friends, but money is something entirely different. They will want a payback for their participation and the only way to dole that out is in the final price paid for their shares. I am sure that Jens for instance would not be pleased to accet a $0.20 buyout figure.
So, what is your opinion on this if retail has been virtually sold out? Will those who continue to hold be rewarded along with the friendly hands, or is there some trickery yet to come?
The game has changed from what we were looking at when the bought deal with OSK was done. I have to wonder if you feel if investors were potentially or intentionally misled? Regards!
