RE:Good time to buy in?CaptainConn, I've tracked this stock closely under the current management. It trades somewhat cyclically in that the share price doesn't closely track underlying performance and seems to be backward looking vs. forward looking. it also tends to react to swings in energy prices moreso than the underlying business should justify. From a pure "eyeballing the charts" I liked adding near $11 recently. Add to that a good quarter (raised low end of earnings guidance), higher dollar, positive resolution with CRA, 6.25-6.50% yield and its got solid upside vs. downside potential.
8x earnings on the low end of guideance ($1.50/share) is $12 which for me is where this should trade at a minimum.
I hold a core postion for the yield and add when it gets cheap or out of favour I add. I would reduce to my core position above $13. This strategy has worked well over 10 years.
Good luck
