RE:Hasn't Wheaton been compensated enough already? You may definitely get your wish or Wheaton may just take over primero assets since it cosigned for revolver. I believe their streaming deal goes to front of line in bk court. If they did take over assets through a bk, a take under, a take over or merger they would still be stuck with tax liability. No matter how Wheaton proceeds the tax issue and stream issue must be solved at same time with multiple parties involved imo. For all we know Mexico may insist primero remains as primary or co operator at site or may insist they must go. Mexico has as much leverage on Wheaton as has on P.
One way to possibly keep that stream as high as possible is get the tax issue resolved by paying spot to Mexico and then scoop up the remains of primero which still may or may not include black fox as that deal may be as real as Sprott deal that vanished. These assets get spun into new company backed by Wheaton. Wheaton holders own say 84% of new company with primero holders owning remaining 16% as an example of great outcome in this situation. Wheaton or any company for that matter inclined to pay a premium for primero shares with market cap of just 16 million would only do so if new shareholders are supposed to make a fat profit imo. Joey could declare victory with a 200% premium to previous closing price of a dime. Sad. All just a big fat guess. This business is not exactly fair so to speak so it could happen.
