Lion One Metals Limited is a Canadian gold producer. It is in the business of mineral exploration and evaluation and is focused on the development of mineral resources in Fiji. The Company is the owner and operator of the Tuvatu Gold Mine located on the island of Viti Levu in the Fiji Islands. The Tuvatu Gold Project has been fully permitted for development, construction, and mining by the Government of Fiji with the grant of a Special Mining Lease (SML 62). The Tuvatu project comprises the high-grade Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Deposit, the Underground Gold Mine, the Pilot Plant, and the Assay Lab. The Property comprises four special prospecting licenses (SPL 62), with a total area of 20,170.5 hectares. It also has an extensive exploration license covering the entire Navilawa Caldera, which is host to multiple mineralized zones and highly prospective exploration targets. It holds four exploration licenses for the Tuvatu properties as granted by the mineral resources department.

RE:RE:Another News release coming down the pike.I agree with you that this is taking too long but I don't see weather as much of a factor.   I lived off and on in Fiji and the South Pacific for about 10 years.   The wet season may effect exploration on surface where access roads are bad but as long as the main roads are good to the mine site, I don't think it will have much of an effect on mine construction or the underground. 

It can rain a lot when there is a cyclone but it is not like the constant rains and monsoons you get in South East Asia where the rain never seems to stop.  Cyclone season in Fiji really doesn't really kick in until Dec to Jan.  Nadi is on the dry side of the island and they get a fraction of the rain of countries like Myanmar or Thailand.   I lived there a few years and the contrast in the seasons has to be seen to be believed.

Hopefully we get some news soon.
