Veresen to delist from TSX Oct. 4

The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Veresen Inc.'s common shares (VSN) and preferred shares (VSN.PR.A, VSN.PR.C and VSN.PR.E) will be delisted at the close on Oct. 4, 2017. According to the TSX, Pembina Pipeline Corp. has acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of Veresen.
Under the arrangement, the holders of Veresen shares are entitled to receive, in respect of each Veresen share, either: (i) $18.65 per share in cash; or (ii) 0.4287 of a Pembina common share, subject to proration. In addition, each series of Veresen's cumulative redeemable preferred shares will be replaced with an equivalent series of preferred shares of Pembina on a 1:1 basis.
