RE:RE:drunk driving is a social taboo. worthy of shaming others.Did you know that and alcoholic is not drunk at 0.08 (legal limit) or even at 0.16 (twice the legal limit) he feel just fine, to be truthful if he does not have some alcohol in his system he might get the shake...so drinking actually makes him better at driving. he is still a criminal if he drives.
I am so tired of this nonsense...unless what you are smoking is very very very low on thc...If you take cannabis everyday: you are impaired, all day long, on a permanent basis and for quite some time even if you quit...(we can hear it in your voice ...man.)
it just does not go away like alcohol (alcohol only takes 20 hours to completely be washed out of your system, cannabis (thc) take 10-30 days)
Luckily the side test will test if you had cannabis RECENTLY (meaning in the last 2 hours or so) in which case they will take you to the police station, make a test (that you will fail) and you will be declared a criminal and have your driver licence revoked...just like all those innocent alcoholics.
welcome to a new level of hell, if it held for alcohol it will hold for cannabis.
just don't smoke and drive, like every other adults who learned not to drink and drive. and don't think because it's medical that you get a free pass...you don't
Like any other drugs (alcohol included) you cannot drive under the influence of ANY drugs, even legal ones.

I Also can understand when someone who isn't used to using ,shouldn't be driving as they are impaired . This is the most difficult task the government will face . There's only 1 simple solution I could come up with .. if your driving high and have a accident your at fault . This the same rule that applies for hitting someone from behind or driving while on prescription medication. I could live with that . I drive better while medicated but understand some don't . You can't limit people from driving like myself ,just because they use a prescription . It's legal to drive on OxyContin so why not marijuana?? Just my opinion...
