RE:Management and the union have agreed to bring in mediator

RE:Management and the union have agreed to bring in mediatorJeepers what the heck took them so long?  You'd think a mediator would have been involved months ago.  I guess it is easy to underestimate the size of the egos involved on all sides...kind of like a game of "who blinks first" at a really serious level...That it toook over eight months for them to even get to a first vote is a sign of major stubborness.  When zinc is trading so high you'd think the company is going to lose more from this strike than the workers...and of course we have lost big time.  Is it a good time to buy more shares?  Who's in?  I want to, but...scared.....if they settle with the mediator's help, the shares should work back up over 2, but if no settlement the strike will drag on and the shares will drag down. At least we should see quarterly results this week being not too bad. Probably the union will wait to see them in order to shape their strategy. Good results will encourage the union to stick to their guns. Knowing that, the company will want to try to make them look bad. We will have to read between the lines....For those of us hoping for a dividend one day (or a buyout offer hahahaha) the word to post on our spreadsheets is...Patience!
