However, messages on this board suggest that they are still active in getting the company talked down, and the law firm that announced that it is "investigating" is part of this effort (if not actually linked to it). Generally, Citron and company don't go away quickly once they have started a campaign, and I would assume there will be more. If they get hold of numbers that can be portrayed as "churn," I would guess they will try and make use of them. But I'm speculating; and take your point about what's happening right now.
Hi Gormless. There are perhaps 5 legal firms who say they are "investigating" Shopify. I'd suggest you find out who they are and call them. You will discover that they are ambulance chasers. Legal slime preying on those who lost a lot of money...hoping these folks will cough up more to "investigate" Shopify. I've made several calls. Ask them for their timelines and when their investigation will be complete. And if they haven't arrived at any concrete conclusions by this date, then all must be OK. At that point in the conversation they seem to want to hang up.
