RE:Bought

RE:Bought Good afternoon Montague,

I can certainly sympathize with your plight, as I made the mistake of buying back in a couple of months ago myself, this time in the low 60's.  I was anticipating a "normal" fall rally in gold and figured at the time that BAR was undervalued.

I suspect that the market has now simply run out of patience with Wagner.  He used to have a great reputation and solid track record.  That is why I got into BAR years ago, with some purchases near to $2.  This latest batch might go the same way as the last batch:  tax-loss selling to offset recent gains in other issues.

I harbour a mental image of valuing junior mining issues as two overlapping charts plotted against time.  (Potential) reserves increasing along with shares issued.  I fear that the relative slopes of these two curves is now working against BAR shareholders.  But then, hope springs eternal even if it is not a worthy strategy.
