RE:RE:Aurora Sky at -30 celcius in coming yearsCouldn’t stand by any longer to comment on this string....

Been a a holder for over a year....and have watched and read religiously over the last few months.... while the discussion is always entertaining the comments on construction in Edmonton is the most ludicrous thing I have read.... and something I had to comment on.

For anyone with concerns simply search Edmonton Ice District.... over 2.5 Billion has been invested in development projects in the downtown core..... and this has/is happening in winter and summer months.... Can’t do this kind of development in only 4months/year....it happens all 12.....

No question costs increase as a result of building in this kind of weather....but let’s be honest....it’s all built into the cost structure.....getting it done is not a problem.

Posters that continue to use the weather as a means to throw “caution” about the execution of the facility would have more credibility if they called themselves Chicken little and told the board to watch for the sky falling. At least that story has some relevance....being concerned about building in Edmonton in the winter is not a legitimate concern.
