To elaborate, Aphria claims that their 200K sq ft greenhouse + 55K sq ft infrastructure Phase 3 expansion had a total cost of 25 million. I really don't think this is a comparable project though. Aphria's phase 4 expansion had some serious automation, additional lighting and a cogen power plant so I think that is a more comparable project. 
 
That project was 700K sq ft greenhouse plus 202K sq ft infrastructure and they claimed cost 137 Million. Emblem's project is roughly 20% the size. 20% of 137 million is 27.5 Million. Now obviously there are probably some costs savings due to the economies of scale of building out a much bigger project but it certainly isn't 2X. 
 
So either Aphria is lying, Emblem is getting screwed or there is something more to this that we don't know about yet. Whatever it is, I sure hope we get an explanation before the opening bell tomorrow or else look out below.
