Oh man... American vs Canadian politics.. I'll just say this, there are bigger fires in the U.S right now that need to be put out and this is 100% the perfect time to bring this in under the radar.

Fact is though, you are right, if there is one thing that can kill the buzz, it's not following through on rec in Canada. I don't believe for a second there will be a delay but yah, that would f things up pretty epically.
