This too lean mixture has always been the problem. I mentioned this to Tom Fairfull way back when.

(I can confirm that a friend of mine had a Jetstar on his rig and he told me he used more fuel! because the mixture was too lean)

Tom was just too stubborn to hire the right people to correct this problem.

I believe that if these guys understood this they could increase the efficience of the hg1.

When I worked in the manufaturering world we would routinely do this calculation to help things run smoothly.
