Currently C-FYQO & C-FYQN

Currently C-FYQO & C-FYQNAbove two aircraft currently with Air Transat, ex Canjet, ex Ryan Air. From what I hear Transat is ending the lease soon (end of winter season), there were two represtatives from the leasing company looking at the two airplanes as an end of lease inspection, condition, getting major component serial numbers etc. This obviously isn't the final end of lease inspection, just a preliminary.

When the reps were asked if those could be two future Jetlines aircraft, they didn't say anything, but the facial expression indicated that it was a possibility.

From what I hear, a third Transat 737NG is also slated to go back at the end of the season, that could be Jetlines third aircraft. Transat is replacing them with A320's.

The time lines could work here, end of winter season is around end of April, then off to C check, repaint, and whatever else is required. The aircraft are already Canadian registered, so there would be no importation difficulties, it would be a rather simple thing to do. They are 189 seats, the configuration of choice, and they have a neutral interior, Jetlines wouldn't even have to spend any money to get rid of a company colored interior etc. if they choose.

Just posting some stuff I heard, no facts, just rumours and speculation.

Cheers and GLTA
