RE:RE:RE:Frequent positive news releases =extreme risk for CUV shortsAlmost always increased volume is good. More people buying in at higher prices leads to less cheap shares being turned over every day. Very positive. Increased volume brings a lot of positive buzz to the name.
It does also bring out the day traders and the flavour of the week investor. Or even worse, automated or coordinated buying and selling by a select few groups of manipulators. This sometimes happens.
Like that guy at work who is always chasing the latest "sexy" pick. Telling you to buy Cuba Ventures, even though when you ask him, he can't tell you a lick about it. He will be the first to panic and sell at a loss the moment it dips. Once we get most of those people out, the longs will push it up.
If the company continues to deliver and come out with good news, then it should rise steadily, notwithstanding a few dips or downtowns, like we may have today.
